My background doesn't follow the typical studio path. I started in a Design + Build office, but most of my time has been spent on the construction side collaborating with designers and architects.
I bring nearly 10 years of technical production experience translating design into buildable reality. I've spent my career producing commercial tile and stone construction documents while simultaneously freelancing small residential kitchen and bath remodels handling site measurements, space planning and permit coordination. That technical foundation shapes how I design. I consider constructability, material performance and utilitarian purpose with the belief that these are essential drivers of good design.
After graduating from Academy of Art University with my BFA in Interior Architecture & Design, I spent nearly 10 years as Lead Designer and Estimator where I developed a comprehensive understanding of construction assembly and fabrication as it relates to tile and stone according to Natural Stone Institute and Tile Council of North America while adhering to CA Building Code standards.
Most recently, I worked as a part-time Jr. Interior Designer, where I supported the principal designer with FF&E schedules, CAD drafting, mood boards, and client presentations.
I'm actively seeking my next full-time opportunity where I can bring both design vision and technical expertise to a studio that values someone who understands the process from concept to installation.
